Craig Johnson was born in Austin, Minnesota in 1945 and attended the University of Minnesota as both an undergraduate and a law student. He obtained his law degree in 1971 and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Minnesota in 1972.  He retired with the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve (Armor) in 1976.  Mr. Johnson was a long-time member of the Minnesota Title Standards Committee, which writes, analyzes, and revises the standards used within the State for examination of real estate titles.  Mr. Johnson also served on the governing council of the Real Property Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and served as its President in 1994-95. He was certified by his peers in the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Real Property Law Specialist.  He was listed in the Commercial Real Estate and Residential Real Estate sections of Minnesota Law and Leading Attorneys, and was elected by his peers into the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, being one of only 25 Minnesota Lawyers admitted into this membership. He formerly co-chaired the annual Real Estate Institute of the State Bar Association. Craig Johnson practiced in the areas of real estate, business law, corporations, estate planning, probate and trusts. He retired in 2016.
